What Mehfil may do

Depending on context and urgency, Mehfil may preserve evidence under a time-limited legal hold, hide or remove content, reject a report, restrict an event, suspend an account, prevent further in-service sharing, request information, notify affected people, or refer a matter to competent authorities. Critical reports target initial review within one hour, high priority within four hours, normal priority within 24 hours and low priority within 72 hours. These are review targets rather than guaranteed outcomes. A closed or rejected report may be appealed. Removal does not determine criminal or civil liability.

How to report or appeal

Use the public reporting form. No login is required. Provide the event code or invitation link and enough detail to locate the material. Do not download or redistribute illegal material merely to report it. If a report is closed or rejected, use the appeal form with the report reference and original email address.
